Vazhur Public Health Centre
The Hospital cum Dispensary unit, set up in Vazhur as part of Voltech’s CSR initiative, was inaugurated on February 9th, by the Revered father of the MD, Shri. N. Murugesan, in the presence of the MD, Shri. M. Umapathi and the Director Mrs. U. Kalaivani. A special pooja, invoking the blessings of Lord Almighty, was performed in an elaborate ceremony involving seeking blessings of a cow and a suckling calf, with the MD’s parents leading the Voltech’s staff and employees on this auspicious occasion. The ceremony was attended by all of Voltech’s staff who had been actively involved with the CSR activities in Vazhur, and the Doctor on call started duty from the same day. The hospital features an emergency room, maternity room, a ward, dispensary and all other conveniences and amenities, employing some of the latest technologies in the field of medical sciences, furnished with ergonomic equipment and laid with ceramic vitrified tiles.
